Pivots set the same? I think generally the pivot points should set to the centre of the wheels, though I'm less sure about the suspension parts.

    Obviously I'm assuming the suspension isn't just off-balance :D

    There can be several reasons.
Is each suspension part in a separate instance in the gen file?
    Is it a debris instance?
Is that debris instance defined in the damage file?
Do the gmt have the pivot 0,0,0?
    ...

I fix it, the debris instance did not match the damage file
    Thanks for the help :D:D:D

i have similar problem. i think the links of suspensions are not in the correct position, in fact, i think they have the links points of skyipbarber suspension. Where do i change?

On the other hand, the suspensions .gmt have the pivot in the point they move, not the (0,0,0)

doubts. what is "debris instance" mean?

Debris instance is the parts in the gen file. So suspension is normally Debris5 to 8. If it's not, or the damage file hasn't got each instance correct, then it will look odd or weird

At first, you should set the pivot point of all suspension parts to 0,0,0.
And if you then use the same debris instances (5-8) as the skip barber in the gen file and if you also use the skip barber damage ini, everything should look correct and symmetrical.

now i put the pivot point of suspension in 0,0,0 AND its still not being symmetrical

    Do you use 3dsimed3?
If yes, are the suspension parts positioned correctly if you load it into 3dsimed3?
If yes too, please post the 4 entries of the suspension parts from the gen file and also the 4 according entries of the damage file.

??? Do you maybe use the former (old) 3dsimed?
For rfactor 2 you have to use 3dsimed3.
But my above post still stands:
Are the suspension parts positioned correctly if you load them into the 3d software that you use for modding?
If yes, please post the 4 entries of the suspension parts from the gen file and also the 4 according entries of the damage file.

    i use the 3dsiemed 3 for rf2.

the suspension are correctly also in the 3dmax (software i use) and the debris number in damage file are the debris a wrote on .gen

If you want, you can upload your mod (the whole subfolder from the devmodes vehicles folder) somewhere and send me the link by a private conversation.
I'm pretty sure that i can help to solve your problems.
Without to have the mod on the own machine, it is only "fishing in the dark" here in the forum, to find out what is wrong with it.
