Hello dear forum members. Yesterday I started rF2 after 3 weeks not playing. Now I have new BEEP sound when I reach high RPM. I didn't install any plugins and there are no new plugins active... I don't like this sound at all, it's very distracting... Anybody know what's the issue here? Thank you very much
Are you using simhub or something like that? I don't believe there is anything in the default game that would do this.
The elusive beep rears it's head again. https://forum.studio-397.com/index.php?threads/m8-gte-beep-sound.61009/ A few said they could hear a definite beep but most didn't. By "most" I mean us old farts with less hearing than answers given about the bleeping beep in that link!
I found the issue.. It is the new "feature" in the SimRacingStudio software. So you was right Courier.. Maybe useful for someone but I found it just anoying.. Thanks guys
Funny! I'll give you funny if you don't get off my lawn. It'll never turn into 3D grass with you stumbling around squashing it down to 2D.
You mightn't have installed any plugins because (I assume) SRS did it for you automatically because in their own words " We know that some games are very cumbersome to configure and get going. It might requires DLL to be downloaded and/or XML files to be edited...Ouch" Some people prefer the one click plug and play method which is understandable but to portray downloading a file or editing a text file as a painful ordeal is pathetic considering their customers are sim enthusiasts, not primary school console kids. Enough ranting. Just remember that a program /app etc that is using data from a game to do whatever, will most likely need some type of file (.dll, .json, .xml etc) installed in the game to collect that game data. Hence the term plugins. At least you saved yourself from beep induced mental trauma.
Luxury, when I were young, we couldn't afford no 3D grass, couldn't afford grass. We had to paint the dirt green. You crazy old fart.
Green dirt. Sounds like a waste of nutritious ingredients for a stew, just a shame we couldn't afford a fire to cook the stew.
Hello...I use SF70H and the difficulty was that I can't see sound records in rundown, however I just settled by deactivate sound module and reactivate it, and now it show me all sound documents and I simply check and drs dounds works consummately. Possibly this moronic arrangement could be helpful for who like me not see sound documents from list. turnkey pcb
