Nobody is forcing ppl to get street cars, again this is an open moding platform,if someone whants to make an horse to ride it,why not?Ohh,i miss the old good days of moding rFactor1,the comunity was better, now is there to much snowflakes.....never happy whit anything.
@vegaguy5555 he said: heard Studio-397 would not be building any street cars and just wanted to know how everyone feels about street cars. and I answer you: my opinion is just one more, I don't like street cars, they seem like rubbish to compete, that someone wants to do them, go ahead! ..., where I said do not make lod moders cars of Street?
Own it and love it. To bad they use a rather static driver model compared to the ISI one (wich is really cool). If someone could merge it into the kartsim mod it would be about perfect. Driving Genk in those karts is just addictiv and super immersive.
ACC, R3E are very good Sims that do GT3s very well, therefore there's no need for them in RF2. There is good Nordschleife in every sim therefore there's no need for it in RF2.
I have a solution: Road Car... I have a solution: Race Car... I have a solution: Try NOT to drift this thing!!!
suspensions, shock absorbers, brake discs, brake pads, exhaust pipe, electronic injection, or carburetor in the old, tires, turbo, and much more
sorry, .. it has been a bad compression on my part, .. sorry, .. the answer above, is answer to this question,
I was looking at the new McLaren Senna in tuning last night and noticed a Hyper car setting. What does that do? And does this mean Studio-397 is doing street cars? Plus the street cars I've tried, as nice as they are, just don't stand up to the official content by Studio-397. Mostly because they are missing updates.
The Lotus Cortina is very much a street/road car. Yes it's a homologation car, but it's a street car nonetheless. Just like cars such as - Sierra Cosworth RS500, BMW M3 E30, Imprezza 22B. The Cortina's are a bit special in that the race cars are pretty much identical to the road cars (except for the race engines which were tuned by Lotus/BRM/Cosworth and maybe some tuned suspension). But they had no roll cages, no big racing seats, but I think they did have a fire extinguisher which was entirely pointless as it was tiny. Also, if you were a road car customer, you could buy competition upgrades/options to get your street car very close to the race cars. Most other homologation cars are very different in race spec. BUT... If you want a Ford Cortina 1.2L Deluxe with 48bhp and a 22 second 0-60 time, I can make one just for you EDIT: I think the fire extinguisher is the red/gold thing on the centre console in front of the gear stick. So you can see how big they were on safety in the 1960s! (This is Sir John Whitmore's actual championship winning car from 1965)
evidently you cannot compare it with the modern era, but at that time it was an important advance, even the modification of carburetors or the suspension
I still like reading about how these guy cheated back in the day and of course pretty much zero saftey.
I've now intensively tested the BMW M5 and the NSX. My conclusion is: PLEASE MORE! ! ! Especially the NSX is really fun .
Alfa Romeo Stradale "" "" C4 Mazda Mx7 Toyota Supra Lambo Countach Ferrari Testarossa De Tomaso Panthera... and so on.. The Physics of rfactor2 fits perfect for stuff like that.
