Thanks long way to go still its a striking car for sure... You are right about the banner thin is not great...I hadn't looked at it closely yet just a quick resize but will later..
Has anyone been painting gold coloured chrome parts already? Would love to get a good working color code for that then since I can't really find a satisfying one on my own.
hey guys where you put the windows-banner...?? (windowin..window out) If I painted.. when I put a decal Grandturismo.. save it like alt_window.dds DX5 (Gimp) the Porsche logo stay on the window if I go to the showroom.
For the window files it's mostly 'altwindow.dds' but not 'alt_window.dds'. There's only an underscore for the region map: 'alt_region.dds'.

For now I've used f6c90a (RGB: 246/201/10) on this skin but there's definitely potential for improvements. Spoiler
Yes, that is correct, you can also duplicate the albedo layer, try both ways, it will go much better, too much brightness does not show the effects of slots doors and shadows
You don't need a color code while painting because you add the gold to the chrome parts later: Define all gold areas with white or light gray in your painting software. Mask this areas in a seperate region layer. Export all files (skin.dds & skin_Region.dds) Go into the rF2 showroom and load the skin. Start the rF2 Carpaint Editor in your webbrowser Go to the Chrome Region Layer and select Chrome. Then click the Lacquer Color button and try some colors untill you get a nice golden area. Don't forget the last step: Press RELOAD to safe your changings! Good Luck!
